As of right now, I am deciding between love letters and last letters as my topic for the paper and presentation. I am very interested in love letters during WWII and the many things that they might tell us about how relationships survived during this time. I would like to relate this to issues that we see happening today, but I am not sure what content will be discussed in the sources shared next week. That is why I am considering choosing last letters from the war as an alternate topic. It was really interesting to see the different experiences that people faced and how they went about communicating their feelings to loved ones.
For either topics, I would use the sources provided in the class website and ones that I find on my own. I will find sources that discuss issues from the war and that discuss issues that are currently taking place.
