This week we presented our final projects for our letter writing class. My presentation was on the importance of letters in movies, specifically in The Color Purple. This presentation was easier to complete and to actually present. I think this is because I knew what to expect and I had a better understanding on the topic. It may also be due to the fact that the slides of this presentation weren’t timed, so I didn’t feel as rushed as before. However, the Pecha Kucha style was good practice and is something that I might use in the future.
Additionally, I enjoyed watching my classmates presentations. It was interesting to see what they found most interesting about the class. I also think that I liked this round of presentations more than the first one because we got choose the topic, so it was rare that ideas got repeated.
